Days In The Dioceses 2008

With the popes visit to Australia in 2008 came the exciting Days in the Dioceses event for which Special Event Merchandising were awarded the contract to design, supply and retail all official merchandise for the event.

Days in the Dioceses were a series of celebrations held in the Catholic Dioceses around Australia before the celebrations commenced in Sydney for World Youth Day. The Melbourne Days in the Dioceses was held from 10 – 14 July 2008 and was a key multi-event fixture on the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne and Melbourne city event calendar. Days in the Dioceses and World Youth Day focused on attracting Youth between the ages of 16 – 35 years.

Days in the Dioceses attracted 25,000 international visitors and 25,000 domestic pilgrims.

World Firefighters Games 2008

 

 

Liverpool was the place to be for Firefighters in 2008 as Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service proudly played host to the 10th World Firefighters Games! The Games were a mini Olympics for Firefighters and a fantastic opportunity for Firefighters across the world to get together and compete in the 67 events that were on offer.

The Games ran from 24 August – 3rd September 2008 and over 5,000 competitors and their families streamed into the city to join in the fun. The emphasis of the games focused on fun, family, friendship and everyone having a great time!

 

World Masters Games 2005

 

One of the largest games on earth with an industry leader designing and producing the merchandise.

Special Event Merchandising were the official merchandise partners of the 2006 Edmonton World Masters games.

At the World Masters Games you compete in any of the 27 sports with athletes from as many as 100 countries. But the experience goes beyond your sport - you join tens of thousands of others who are dedicated to staying fit and active throughout their lives.

The first World Masters were in Toronto in 1985 and in 2006 the games returned to Canada with Edmonton offering a warm canadian welcome and an incredible international sport experience.

 

World Police & Fire Games 2007

 

From 16-25 March 2007, Adelaide, South Australia hosted the World Police & Fire Games with Special Event Merchandising as the official merchandise partners. This spectacular international sporting event offered law enforcement officers, firefighters, correctional services and customs officers from around the world an opportunity to showcase their athletic talents in over 65 diverse sporting events. As well as revelling in the fun, adventure and competition, whilst enjoying the best that South Australia had to offer.

 

Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games

 

 

Special Event Merchandise were awarded the contract as Official Venues Concessionaire for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
